As quite a few of you might know from my blog, my Husband and I’ve a couple of huge house dogs. When I say significant, I mean Massive. We have an English Mastiff that is over 200 lbs, and an English Mastiff mix which is about 100 lbs. That’s quite a bit of dog, and that’s quite a bit of dog hair within the property. I have pretty severe allergies and as you can picture, that amount of dog hair in the residence does not help. Because of this, I vacuumed practically everyday ahead of we got our robotic vacuum. It was frustrating, but our dogs are portion in the family members, so I did not feel like I had a different alternative.
Enter the iRobot Roomba
When my Husband initial suggested the robotic vacuum to create issues much easier on me, I was pretty skeptical. I had looked at them prior to, and just was not impressed using the critiques. They were expensive and at the time, didn’t truly seem worth the money for lackluster efficiency. We looked at them once more, and I was pleasantly shocked by what we discovered. The vacuums have come a lengthy way! Based on our investigation, we settled on the iRobot 562 Roomba Pet Series.
First Impressions
When the vacuum 1st arrived, I noticed instantly how nicely put together it seemed. It didn’t have the “cheap” really feel to it that I expected. We couldn’t wait to test it out, so we sprinkled somewhat bit of coffee grounds onto the carpet and let it go. I was SHOCKED! It actually picked them up! I can’t say it did a great job, however it was apparent that this little factor would at least offer you me a break from vacuuming everyday. And that, was worth its weight in gold.
We’ve had the iRobot Roomba for about a year now. I wouldn’t trade it. I still vacuum a couple times per week, but when the Roomba is correctly cleaned and maintained it does a seriously great job. It is going to never entirely replace my Dyson vacuum, but I couldn’t expect it to. That mentioned, it still manages to collect a significant amount of dog hair, to ensure that it at the very least keeps up with their shedding.
I don’t really feel the must vacuum every day due to it, and that is something I’m truly appreciative of. We have set the robotic vacuum as much as run even though we are at work. By the time we get property, the house is vacuumed along with the Roomba is back at its charging station.
So Do You Suggest The Roomba?
Definitely! I love this little vacuum. When you have ever deemed purchasing 1, I Highly advise them. They are not excellent, but they do a great adequate job, you’ll be able to take a break and relax rather than pushing that vacuum around once again.
